August Meeting
Our August county committee meeting takes place on Thursday, August 1st at 6:30 PM. The county convention has also been recalled and will reconvene immediately upon adjournment of the county committee meeting. Both will be held at the Benton Senior Citizens’ Center at the River Center, 1800 Citizens Drive, Benton.

At our June meeting, we passed a resolution urging the immediate enforcement of US Commercial Drivers Licenses for all commercial truck drivers in Arkansas.

County Convention Reconvenes
We will reconvene the County Convention for the purpose of certifying the primary runoff winners. Opposing Ranked Choice Voting
At our May meeting, we passed a resolution opposing ranked choice voting. This dangerous scheme has become a tool of late in red states to elevate Democrats and RINOs. It is endorsed by former Governor Asa Hutchinson, who was formally “not recommended” by this Committee last year.
